Remove a team from the system. This action cannot be undone.

Overview
Deleting a team permanently removes it from the system along with all team-client associations. This action cannot be undone, so it should be used carefully and only when a team is no longer needed.
Important Warning
Deleting a team will:
- Remove all client assignments from the team
- Permanently delete the team record
- Remove team from all reports and statistics
- Cannot be undone
Consider using the "Inactive" status instead of deletion to preserve historical data.
When to Delete vs. Deactivate
Delete Team When:
- Team was created by mistake
- Team is no longer relevant and won't be needed
- You want to completely remove all traces of the team
- Team has no historical value
Deactivate Team When:
- Team is temporarily not needed but may be used again
- You want to preserve historical data and reports
- Team has served its purpose but you want to keep records
- You're unsure about future team needs
Accessing Team Deletion
Method 1: From Team Details Page
- Navigate to the team details page for the team you want to delete.
- Click the
Delete Teambutton in the top-right corner. - Confirm the deletion in the warning dialog.
Method 2: From Teams List Page
- From the main navigation, click on the
Teamsmenu item. - Locate the team you want to delete.
- Click the dropdown menu (three dots) on the team card.
- Select
Delete Teamfrom the dropdown menu. - Confirm the deletion in the warning dialog.
Deletion Process
Step 1: Initiate Deletion
- Click the
Delete Teambutton from either the team details page or teams list - A confirmation dialog will appear
Step 2: Confirmation Dialog
The confirmation dialog will display:
- Team Name: The name of the team being deleted
- Client Count: Number of clients currently assigned to the team
- Warning Message: Clear indication that this action cannot be undone
- Confirmation Checkbox: Must be checked to proceed
- Action Buttons: Cancel and Delete buttons
Step 3: Confirm Deletion
- Read the warning message carefully
- Check the confirmation checkbox
- Click the
Deletebutton to proceed - Or click
Cancelto abort the deletion
Step 4: Deletion Complete
- The team will be removed from the system
- You'll be redirected to the Teams list page
- A success message will confirm the deletion
