Overview

Deleting a team permanently removes it from the system along with all team-client associations. This action cannot be undone, so it should be used carefully and only when a team is no longer needed.

Important Warning

Deleting a team will:

  • Remove all client assignments from the team
  • Permanently delete the team record
  • Remove team from all reports and statistics
  • Cannot be undone

Consider using the "Inactive" status instead of deletion to preserve historical data.

When to Delete vs. Deactivate

Delete Team When:

  • Team was created by mistake
  • Team is no longer relevant and won't be needed
  • You want to completely remove all traces of the team
  • Team has no historical value

Deactivate Team When:

  • Team is temporarily not needed but may be used again
