Manage Team Clients
Add and remove clients from teams to organize your client base effectively.

Overview
Client management is a core feature of team functionality. You can add clients to teams, remove them, and view client assignments to ensure optimal organization of your client relationships.
Adding Clients to Teams
From Team Details Page
- Navigate to the team details page for the team you want to manage.
- Click on the
Clientstab. - Click the
Add Clientbutton. - In the client selection modal:
- Browse available clients
- Use the search box to find specific clients
- Select one or more clients to add
- Click
Add to Teamto confirm the assignment.
Client Selection Criteria
- Available Clients: Only clients not already assigned to this team will be shown
- Organization Scope: Only clients within your organization are available
- Active Status: Only active clients can be assigned to teams
Removing Clients from Teams
From Team Details Page
- Navigate to the team details page.
- Click on the
Clientstab. - Locate the client you want to remove from the team.
- Click the
Removebutton next to the client's name. - Confirm the removal in the confirmation dialog.
From Teams List Page
- On the Teams list page, click the dropdown menu for the team.
- Select
View Details. - Follow the steps above to remove clients.
Viewing Team Clients
Client List Features
The Clients tab displays:
- Client Name: Full name of the client
- Email: Client's email address
- Status: Whether the client is active or inactive
- Actions: Remove button for each client
Client Information
For each client in the team, you can see:
- Contact Information: Name and email
- Assignment Date: When the client was added to the team
- Client Status: Active or inactive status
- Quick Actions: Direct access to remove the client
Client Management Best Practices
Team Composition
- Balanced Teams: Avoid creating teams that are too large or too small
- Logical Grouping: Group clients by similar characteristics (location, service type, etc.)
- Advisor Capacity: Consider advisor workload when assigning clients
Client Assignment Strategy
- Geographic Teams: Group clients by location for efficient service delivery
- Service-Based Teams: Organize clients by the types of services they receive
- Relationship Teams: Group clients with similar relationship characteristics

- Client Movement: Move clients between teams as their needs change

Bulk Operations
Adding Multiple Clients
- Select multiple clients in the client selection modal
- Add all selected clients to the team at once
- Confirm the bulk assignment
Removing Multiple Clients
- Currently, clients must be removed individually
- Consider team restructuring if many clients need to be moved
Client Status Considerations
Active Clients
- Can be assigned to teams
- Receive team-related communications
- Are included in team statistics
Inactive Clients
- Cannot be assigned to new teams
- Remain in existing team assignments
- May need special handling for team management
Team Capacity Management
Advisor Workload
- Monitor the number of clients per advisor
- Consider advisor capacity when adding clients

Troubleshooting
Common Issues
Client Not Available for Assignment
- Already Assigned: Client may already be assigned to this team
- Inactive Status: Client may be inactive and cannot be assigned
- Permission Issues: Check that you have appropriate permissions
Cannot Remove Client
- System Error: Try refreshing the page and attempting again
- Permission Issues: Ensure you have teams management permissions
- Network Issues: Check your internet connection
Error Messages
- "Client already assigned": The client is already part of this team
- "Invalid client selection": Selected client is not available for assignment
- "Permission denied": You don't have the required permissions
